Michael, Danielle and Elyse are overjoyed to share that Sydney Samantha Asadoorian has arrived safely—and already holds a special place in all of their hearts. Her middle name, Samantha, is a tribute to his sister-in-law, who carried Sydney as their surrogate. • Open or update a Family RESP to start earning those sweet 20% CESG contributions
• Review life & disability insurance coverage—you’ve got one more reason to be protected
• Revisit your emergency fund—babies come with expenses (and surprises)
• Update your will to include guardianship and asset distribution
• Plan for childcare costs, even if it feels light-years away

These aren’t just financial decisions—they’re acts of love and foresight. Behaviour shifts are part of this new chapter too. Our routines, priorities, and even sleep patterns (what are those?) all change. And as parents, it's our job to adapt—and prepare. Be present but keep an eye on the future.
